Straight Grain designed a new happy dress and blouse pattern! It's available in electronic and paper from and I bought it straight away, even before the blog tour was announced. An made Norah a beautiful blouse in the same amazing fabric. Feliz and Nani Iro are just meant to be!
From the many options I chose to make the dress with gathered skirt and wide flutter sleeves. In between the bodice and skirt I stitched a piece of pom pom band. Love this cheerful detail and now she matches the bag I made a while ago ;-)
The back closes with 8 buttons, that I once received from her in a fun exchange deal. A bit more work than an invisible zipper, but totally worth it.
The pattern has lovely details like this little pleat in the flutter sleeve <3
I'm thinking this outfit would be perfect for the first day of school, together with her new boots and matching nail polish of course :-)
